This pod of whales was hanging around the ice edge when we happened to pass by. I'm not sure what species they are - they didn't seem to match any of the easy answers. Very small dorsal fin and none of the distinguishing marks of commonly thought of species. No ribbed underjaw that would be characteristic of a humpback or barnacle-looking growths on their skin...
