071CRWindyGully

On the flight back to McMurdo after packing up our entire camp, I captured this shot showing the relation of Cavendish Rocks (the blob of rock in the center of the glacier) and Windy Gully (the ice filled valley directly above Cavendish Rocks). The wind gets funnelled down Windy Gully and right over our camp. The camp was near the dark basalt intrusion on the left (eastern) lobe of Cavendish Rocks.
