When we got back with the helos and the rest of our gear though, we found that one of them had been flattened from a combination of wind and prop wash from the helo. It was a sorry sight. I slept in the mountain tent that survived. It wasn't long though before I built a snow wall around it to protect it from further strong winds and the drift that was building up behind the Scott tents. Note the snotsicles (not to be confused with Popsicles) and the large rocks weighting down the guy lines. Each tent had more than a ton of rocks holding it down.
